Aniseed (Pimpinella anisum semen): The small seeds of this herb have an expectorant and antispasmodic and is clinically prescribed to treat bronchitis, whooping cough and persistent, irritable coughing.

Elderflower blossom (Sambucus nigra flos): Elderflower stimulates the immune system, enhancing immune function, helping defend the body against viruses and infection.  It has potent antiviral and antibacterial properties that help treat head colds, influenza, sinusitis and hay fever.

Linden blossom (Tilia platyphyllos flos): This medicinal plant has powerful bioactive constituents that, when taken regularly, can prevent head colds and excess mucous (catarrh). It strengthens the immune system and helps speed up recovery from colds, coughs and influenza.

Plantain (Plantago lanceolata folia): Helps expel phlegm and soothe inflamed and painful mucous membranes in the respiratory tract. It is especially useful when treating bronchial congestion and allergic conditions such as hay fever and asthma. It also has natural antibiotic properties.

Sage (Salvia officinalis folia): Sage soothes inflamed mucous membranes, giving relief to tonsillitis, bronchitis, asthma and sinusitis sufferers.  Its antimicrobial action helps treat infections and is particularly beneficial for treating colds, fevers and sore throats.

Thyme (Thymus vulgaris herba cum flos): A powerful natural antibiotic, its essential oils fight bacteria, viral and fungal infections.  Its expectorant action increases the production of fluid mucous which helps to expel phlegm.

Shake contents before opening.

Use 1 level teaspoon (1g) per cup (150ml) and infuse with boiling water for 5-10 minutes. Do not microwave.  Excellent in children's drink bottles to increase their immune resistance while at school.

Therapeutic Dose for children: 0-5 months: 5ml, 3 x daily  | 6-12 months: 10ml, 3 x daily | 1-4 years: 20-40ml, 3 x daily | 5-10 years: 50-100ml, 3 x daily

Maintenance Dose: 1-3 cups daily Take a long-term maintenance dose for protection against air polluted environments.
